We have put the ICU behind us and found a very welcoming site waiting for us on the 9th floor of the regular care unit - the daughter of one of the pastors at CrossWay (Keri Malament) providentially was the nurse on duty for Jenny's room! What a blessing and specific answer to the prayers for great nurses to attend to Jenny.
The other pieces of outstanding news was that 1) Jenny did a couple of laps walking around the floor, IV tower in tow, and 2) She asked for specific food for breakfast tomorrow (grits, soft boiled eggs, and some of her mom's homemade Italian bread). So that was really exciting, since Jenny hasn't really had an appetite for food for the last month or so.
Specific Prayer Needs - please pray for strength for Jenny's left leg, she says it feels weak, and for her lung capacity to return to normal, we have exercises for both, but would love to see a really fast return to full functionality. Thank you all so much, we so feel and appreciate all of your prayers and support.
Incredible praise reports.....Momma's Italian bread goes well with any meal...including breakfast! Glad to hear you are doing so well Jenny! Praying that God will continue to show His glory in your life and healing! Love to you all!
