Well, we went in for the Pre-op prep meeting and there were some issues found with the EKG. So, we will be going to the hospital on Monday, but not for brain surgery, but for a stress test and echo cardiogram to see what is going on and making sure that Jenny is ready for surgery, which has unbelievably been able to be rescheduled for Tuesday at noon. There were many examples of God's Grace, even during this unexpected delay - the scheduling of the stress test, the rescheduling of the surgery and all of the people that made it happen , late on a Friday afternoon.
On another note - for those that would feel led to send flowers, balloons, etc.: We love them, but it would bless Jenny and I to have those resources be redirected to one of the special funds at CrossWay (704) 948-9900 - Adoption, Benevolence, or M28 Interns. Our hope would be that these resources can be used to further the kingdom of God, build new families, give hope to the hopeless, and provide fellowship to those searching for answers. Thank you all!

Just clicked on the "Take Them A Meal" link (not exactly sure why, since it would be pretty hard to bring one from Northern VA) and saw that it is completely filled already--and I thought, wow, this family is loved! Then I read today's post with your request for donations to the CrossWay funds instead of flowers, and I saw one of the million reasons WHY you are so loved. What a beautiful testament to your care for so many.
