Daily Provision

Every morning, as the sunlight of the new day enters the room, I have been reminded of God's grace in  providing just what we need for today. It is not for tomorrow or six months from now, but it is a perfect amount and application of His provision and grace. It is specific to the challenges that we face, the questions that will arise, and the temptations that will come - today. I imagine it is much like the Hebrews every morning as they pulled back their tent flaps and saw the manna covered ground.

"then your heart be lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, who led you through the great and terrifying wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water, who brought you water out of the flinty rock, who fed you in the wilderness with manna that your fathers did not know, that he might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end. Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’
(Deuteronomy 8:14-17 ESV)

Today we have an appointment with the lawyer to update all of the family documents and then the pre-op preparation appointment at the hospital this afternoon. Pray for strength for Jenny today. We appreciate you all!
