Our hearts are glad in Him

God Grace shows itself in so many ways each day - everyone at the Mulligan house slept well and we are at  peace. Each of us (including each of the kids) are apprehending His unique grace for each of us, as He provides comfort for our hearts and souls. Today my reading plan included Psalm 33 that says:

Our soul waits for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
For our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.
(Psalm 33:20-22 ESV)

Thank you all for your prayers. We will not know anything until late this afternoon/evening since the surgery will be about 3 hours and will likely start around 2:30 or so. I will provide an update when we have one.

  9. As I was praying through scriptures for you all, Alise joined me and prayed through Psalm 1 for Jenny, ending with - "Help her be like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever she does prospers." What is so amazing is that in the midst of cancer and surgery, God can bring forth fruit through your lives.We have all experienced your joy and your faith in everyday life, now we see that same faith and joy spilling over even in difficulty. Your lives are a witness of God's power, wisdom and goodness! We are so grateful to God for you and love you!
