Really Good News on Today's MRI

So we got a look at the first MRI since Jenny started the new Chemo + Avastin and everything looks really good. We contrasted it to what things looked like after the first month of just Temador, and there was a great deal of improvement. The activity around the tumor was greatly diminished and the swelling that is caused by that activity was reduced substantially. So, this is great news, and really the best for which we could have hoped. The dosage of Chemo is actually going to be reduced a little to see if the side effects (mostly fatigue) can be reduced, while still enjoying the full benefits of it's impact on the tumor.

What this means for Jenny is that the impact of the swelling and tumor activity, which include a diminished memory and increased apathy will continue to be manageable as long as this combination of medicines continue to be effective.

God's grace continues to be showered upon us as the new medicines seem to be doing their job. Thank you for all of your prayers and support! Much to be thankful for!

We're going to be on a Radio Show Tomorrow (4/10)!

We have been given an opportunity to share our story on a blog radio show tomorrow between 3:00 and 4:00. It will be an opportunity to share our experience of God's grace during this journey. Along with us will be Jenny's sister Maria, our son Charlie, our pastor Nick Swan, as well as the Oncologist that has been treating Jenny.

Pray that it will be a great opportunity to both increase awareness for the cause of brain cancer research and impact the listeners for the gospel. Thanks

You can listen in at http://www.hallicasser-jayne.com/ - anytime after 3:00 tomorrow.
